OPO Hotels signs 30-room OPO Essential Nandini in Sambhajinagar
OPO Hotels & Resorts signs OPO Essential Nandini, a 30-room hotel in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, marking its entry into Maharashtra’s growing hospitality market.
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, May 2026: Midscale hotel chains are racing to lock in land along emerging bypass corridors, and OPO Hotels & Resorts has now planted its flag on Beed Bypass with a fast-tracked 30-room deal.
OPO Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of OPO Essential Nandini, marking its formal entry into the Maharashtra market. The property is scheduled to open within the next 60 days under a management agreement finalised on April 27, 2026.
The move signals a clear push into India’s next layer of business and transit cities. And it shows where operators think the next wave of demand is coming from.
30-room hotel with dining and banquet facilities
OPO Essential Nandini is being built as a tight, multi-revenue setup. It targets business travellers, transit guests, and local event demand in one go. The hotel will feature 30 rooms, backed by a 40-cover all-day dining restaurant and a 30-cover bar. There’s also a boardroom for corporate use. But the real play is events. A banquet hall for up to 500 guests puts the property squarely in the weddings and local functions circuit. That mix matters. Weekday business fills rooms. Weekend events drive cash flow.
Strategic location along Beed Bypass corridor
The property sits at Plot No. 17, Gut No. 126/2, Hariram Nagar, opposite Surya Lawns on Beed Bypass Road, an area seeing steady commercial build-up. This stretch is no longer peripheral. It’s turning into a working corridor linking industrial zones, business districts, and transport routes across the city. And that changes demand patterns. Hotels here aren’t just for stay, they’re for movement, meetings, and mid-route halts. Proximity to venues like Surya Lawns adds another layer. It plugs the hotel directly into the city’s event economy.
Expansion into a growing industrial and transit hub
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is quietly shifting gears. Industrial activity is rising. Infrastructure is catching up. And travel demand is following. Business, logistics, and social travel are converging. That’s exactly where midscale hotels thrive. And operators are paying attention. More brands are stepping into these cities, chasing steady, year-round occupancy instead of seasonal spikes. OPO Hotels & Resorts is making that same bet, go where the growth is just getting started, not where it’s already crowded.
Management highlights long-term growth strategy
Sandeep Basu, Chief Executive Officer of OPO Hotels & Resorts, called the signing a key step in the brand’s expansion plan. He pointed to the city’s industrial push and rising travel demand as core drivers. The company’s playbook is straightforward, pick markets with economic activity, keep the product functional, and run lean operations. No overdesign. No excess. Just what the traveller needs.
The asset-light route remains central. Management agreements allow faster scale without heavy capital exposure. With this Maharashtra entry, OPO Hotels & Resorts joins a growing pack of operators moving into secondary cities, where roads, factories, and local demand are quietly rewriting India’s hospitality map.
