Opulent Oasis Launches 53-Key Wild Calm Retreat in Sasan Gir
Opulent Oasis Hospitality enters experiential hospitality with 53-key Wild Calm retreat in Sasan Gir featuring villas, activities and nature-led experiences.
Sasan Gir, May 2026: Opulent Oasis Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., founded by hospitality entrepreneur Bhavik Sheth, has announced its entry into the experiential hospitality segment with the launch of its first project, Wild Calm, a 53-key retreat planned in Sasan Gir, Gujarat.
This is the company’s first move into destination-led hospitality.
And it’s picking a high-traffic wildlife zone to start.
53-key retreat planned in Sasan Gir
The Wild Calm retreat will feature 53 units, including private pool villas and other stay formats designed to sit close to the natural surroundings. The pitch is clear, sell experiences, not just rooms.
Sasan Gir, home to Gir National Park, already pulls steady domestic and international traffic. That gives any new hotel a built-in demand base.
But scale matters.
At 53 keys, the project sits in the mid-sized boutique bracket, small enough to feel personal, large enough to run efficiently.
Facilities include villas, dining and outdoor recreation
The plan goes beyond rooms.
The property will include a clubhouse, swimming pool and a multi-cuisine restaurant. There’s also a kitchen garden in the mix, clearly aimed at pushing “fresh and local” dining.
Outdoor features are doing heavy lifting here.
Pickleball courts. Box cricket zones. Even a Miyawaki forest.
It’s a mix designed to keep guests inside the property longer—and spending.
That’s the real play.
Experience-led hospitality model
Wild Calm is being built around activities, not just stay nights.
Think botanical walks, storytelling sessions, pottery workshops and evening programming.
Flexible, not fixed.
Hotels are moving away from rigid itineraries. Guests want control over how they spend their time.
And they want something to remember, not just a room number.
Founder outlines vision for experiential destinations
Bhavik Sheth says the focus is shifting away from standard hotel formats toward emotional connection and guest engagement.
That’s the pitch. But execution is what will decide this.
Sheth isn’t new to this space. He has worked with Evoke Experiences and was involved in developing Rann Utsav.
So he knows the playbook, culture, storytelling, and scale through experiences.
Expansion plans across eco and cultural destinations
This isn’t a one-off.
Opulent Oasis Hospitality plans to expand into wildlife zones, eco-tourism circuits and culturally active markets across India.
Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are firmly in focus.
That’s where demand is rising, and branded supply is still thin.
Gir is just the starting point.
And competition is coming.
More players are entering the experience-led space, but scale alone won’t win here. Design, programming and how well a hotel connects with its location will decide who survives.
Wild Calm is stepping into that fight early.
