W Hotels Delhi NCR: DS Group Launches Luxury Hotel Near IGI Airport

W Hotels Delhi NCR is officially coming to the capital. DS Group W Hotels has announced a 200-key luxury property near Indira Gandhi International Airport. W Hotels Delhi NCR is scheduled to open in the second half of 2027. The project involves an estimated ₹400 crore investment. This W Hotels Delhi NCR launch marks a milestone for both DS Group and Marriott India.

W Hotels Delhi NCR: Location and Key Project Details

W Hotels Delhi NCR will be located near W Hotels Aerocity on NH8. The property is a conversion of Uppal's Orchid, a five-star hotel. DS Group W Hotels chose this brownfield project for a quicker market entry. W Hotels Aerocity offers exceptional connectivity from both Delhi and Gurgaon.

Nathan Andrews, Business Head of Hospitality at DS Group W Hotels, said W Hotels Aerocity continues to show strong demand and RevPAR growth. He added that the W Hotels Delhi NCR location near the upcoming Kiran Nadar Museum makes it ideal. He said it will become a lifestyle hub for guests from both Delhi and Gurgaon.

DS Group W Hotels: ₹1,000 Crore Expansion Plan

W Hotels Delhi NCR is part of DS Group's ambitious hospitality growth plan. Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman of DS Group W Hotels, said the group currently operates around 900 keys. He added DS Group plans to scale up to 2,000 keys by 2029. DS Group W Hotels has committed ₹1,000 crore to expand its hospitality footprint. The group aims to operate 10 to 12 hotels by FY29.

DS Group entered hospitality 25 years ago. It acquired the Manu Maharani in Nainital, now rebranded as Namah. Current DS Group W Hotels properties include Namah Nainital, Namah Jim Corbett, Radisson Blu Guwahati, InterContinental Jaipur, Renaissance Bengaluru and Holiday Inn Express Kolkata.

W Hotels Delhi NCR: A Bold New Luxury Experience

W Hotels Delhi NCR will redefine luxury hospitality in the capital. Unlike traditional hotels, W Hotels Delhi NCR leads with a Beverage and Food concept. Iconic bar experiences will be central to the property. A rooftop bar will be a key highlight of W Hotels Delhi NCR. This sets a new benchmark for design-led luxury in W Hotels Aerocity.

Rajiv Kumar noted India's hotel penetration rate is just 0.27 keys per 1,000 people. The global average stands at 2.2. This demand-supply gap makes the W Hotels Delhi NCR launch perfectly timed for the premium market.

Marriott India Backs W Hotels Delhi NCR

Marriott India is expanding aggressively across the country. W Hotels Delhi NCR is a key part of that strategy. Marriott India is targeting 500 hotels in India by 2030. Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President for South Asia at Marriott India, said the W Hotels Delhi NCR signing introduces a bold new expression of luxury to the capital's high-energy market.

W Hotels India 2027 will see only its second property in the country. The first W Hotels India 2027 property is located in Goa. W Hotels Delhi NCR will be the first W Hotels India 2027 property in the north.
