Novotel & ibis Bengaluru Outer Ring Road appoint Accor leader Bhavani Mani Shankar Dutta as Director of Operations to sharpen efficiency and guest experience.

Novotel & ibis Bengaluru Outer Ring Road have announced the appointment of Bhavani Mani Shankar Dutta as Director of Operations, strengthening leadership at one of the city’s most prominent dual-brand hotel developments.
With close to two decades of experience in hospitality operations, Dutta takes charge at a time when urban business hotels are under pressure to balance cost efficiency with consistently high guest satisfaction.
In his new role, Dutta will oversee end-to-end operations across both Novotel and ibis Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. His mandate includes driving operational efficiency, enhancing guest experience delivery, strengthening financial performance, and building strong team engagement across departments.
The appointment is strategically significant given the complexity of managing a dual-brand property catering to both premium and midscale segments within Bengaluru’s high-demand Outer Ring Road corridor.
Dutta brings deep institutional knowledge of Accor, having spent more than 15 years with the group across multiple Indian markets. Most recently, he was selected for Accor’s MEA–APAC Master’s Program, a fast-track General Manager development initiative that provided cross-functional operational exposure at the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre.
Earlier in his career, he served as Director – Talent & Culture at several key Accor hotels, including Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, Novotel & ibis Chennai OMR, Novotel & ibis Chennai SIPCOT, and Novotel & ibis Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. This combination of people leadership and operational grounding positions him to lead complex teams at scale.
