FRESNO, California, June 13, 2026 — The Curry Pizza Company, the Fresno-based Indian-American fusion pizza brand, has opened its fourth location in the city at the southeast corner of Belmont and Fowler avenues, introducing something new to its format: a full bar serving locally inspired cocktails and draft beer alongside its established pizza and wings menu.
The restaurant at 6050 E. Grant Ave., situated in the same building as a Starbucks drive-thru and a Subway, began service Monday and operates daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. It marks the 10th Curry Pizza Company location overall, with most sites spread between Fresno and Los Angeles and one in Texas.
A Bar Built for the Neighborhood
Owner Malhi Singh said the decision to add a bar at this location came from a gap he identified in the surrounding area. "We could make some cool drinks," Singh said. "We didn't want to expand the food menu; we wanted to stick with pizza and wings." Twelve taps serve options ranging from Coors to locally brewed Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co. beer.
The cocktail menu draws directly on the neighborhood and Singh's personal connections. The Sunnyside Spice, made with tequila, mango purée, lime juice and a Tajín-seasoned rim, pays tribute to the area and to the owner of Sunnyside Liquor, a friend of Singh's. The Fresno Heatwave, the Tower District Sour and the Punjabi Espresso round out a list built with a local identity in mind. Several cocktails use premium spirits including Patrón and Tito's, and some are garnished with a curry leaf. Cocktails are priced at $12, with discounts running through the grand opening month. Mixed shots are available for $10.
The Old Town Green Tea, one of the shooter options, combines whiskey, peach schnapps, sour mix and lemon-lime soda. The drinks program adds a dimension not found at any other Curry Pizza Company site, and Singh indicated he may bring a bar to the upcoming Campus Pointe location if this one performs well. Menu and Expansion Plans
The food menu at the new Belmont and Fowler site follows the brand's established format: Indian and American pizzas including the signature butter chicken pie, wings, loaded fries and vegan cheese options. Singh said the focus remains on refining that core offering rather than broadening it, with a potential expansion to more than 60 wing flavors under consideration for the Campus Pointe site. Around 20 flavors are currently available.
The Campus Pointe location, next to Fresno State, will occupy the space vacated by Pieology Pizzeria and is expected to open by the end of 2026 or early 2027. The Belmont and Fowler site sits within a development by Lance Kashian, the company behind River Park. El Flaco Taqueria & Carniceria is set to open its meat market and restaurant in an adjacent space within the coming months, and work on a nearby 7-Eleven has also begun.
The Curry Pizza Company was founded in Fresno in 2017 as a family-owned operation, built on the concept of pairing Indian spice profiles with pizza. It has since been listed among Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in America and earned recognition for its chicken wings in California rankings.
