MUMBAI, August 1, 2026 — The Westin Mumbai Garden City has announced a month-long lineup of themed dining experiences throughout August 2026, featuring festive brunches, regional food festivals and cultural celebrations at its signature restaurants, Seasonal Tastes and Kangan.
The culinary calendar includes experiences inspired by Friendship Day, Independence Day, Parsi cuisine, Middle Eastern and Asian gastronomy, Kerala's Onam festival and Raksha Bandhan, offering guests a diverse selection of seasonal dining events.
The Westin Mumbai Garden City introduces themed August brunches
The celebrations begin with "Brunch Better Together" on August 2 at Seasonal Tastes, where guests can celebrate Friendship Day with an elaborate buffet featuring global cuisines, live cooking stations, handcrafted desserts and refreshing beverages.
On August 9, the hotel presents "The Forecast Calls for Brunch", a monsoon-inspired dining experience showcasing comforting seasonal dishes, international favourites and indulgent desserts in a relaxed setting overlooking Mumbai's skyline.
Festive dining celebrates India's traditions
Seasonal Tastes will host "United by Flavor" on August 15, an Independence Day brunch highlighting India's regional cuisines through traditional delicacies, live counters and festive desserts.
The celebrations continue on August 16 with "The Bawa Brunch Club", dedicated to authentic Parsi cuisine. Guests can enjoy classic community favourites prepared with traditional recipes while learning about the culinary heritage of one of Mumbai's most influential communities.
Global flavours arrive later in the month
From August 23, Seasonal Tastes launches "The Road to Arabia", a Middle Eastern culinary festival featuring mezze, grilled specialities, aromatic rice dishes, freshly baked breads and regional desserts prepared using authentic ingredients.
The month concludes on August 30 with "Stamp Your Passport Across Asia", a one-day brunch celebrating Asian street food and regional specialties through live cooking stations and chef-curated menus inspired by cuisines from across the continent.
Kangan presents traditional Onam feast
At Kangan, guests can experience "The Onam Table" on August 26 and 27. The limited-time lunch showcases an authentic Kerala Sadhya along with regional delicacies, celebrating the harvest festival of Onam through traditional recipes and festive hospitality.
Raksha Bandhan brunch completes the celebrations
The hotel's August calendar concludes on August 28 with a Raksha Bandhan brunch at Seasonal Tastes. Designed for family gatherings, the extended lunch features festive Indian dishes and a buffet curated to celebrate the bond between siblings through shared dining experiences.
