Among this year’s nominees is Sanjukta Sangiri, Human Resources Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow, whose career reflects depth, versatility, and cross-market HR expertise.
A seasoned human resources professional, Sanjukta Sangiri brings extensive experience across recruitment, payroll, grievance handling, compensation, and benefits management, with exposure to both Indian and Middle East hospitality markets. Her professional journey includes leadership roles with Hilton Hotels, Golden Tulip (Louvre Hotel Group), Accor-managed residences in Qatar, Goldfinch Hotels, Lemon Tree Hotels, ITC, and TeamLease, spanning hotel operations, corporate HR, and overseas assignments.
Currently serving as HR Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow, Sanjukta leads end-to-end HR operations with a strong focus on employee engagement, compliance, workforce governance, and service excellence. Her role involves managing people processes, strengthening employee relations, and ensuring smooth HR operations aligned with Hilton’s global standards.
Previously, during her tenure with Golden Tulip – India Operations, she contributed to strengthening HR frameworks across properties, while her international assignment with Accor-managed residences in Qatar expanded her exposure to UAE and GCC labour practices, payroll systems, and multicultural workforce management. Her earlier roles with Goldfinch Hotels and Lemon Tree Hotels further enhanced her expertise in hospitality HR operations, where she was recognised multiple times as a high-potential employee and top performer.
Sanjukta’s core strengths include large-scale payroll management for over 5,000 employees, HR analytics and MIS reporting, compensation audits, grievance resolution, and HRIS implementation. She has hands-on experience with payroll and HR systems including SAP, ALCS, RAMCO, Paysoft, and advanced Excel reporting. Her contribution to data-driven HR initiatives includes attrition analysis, demographic profiling, manpower budgeting, employee satisfaction surveys, and Great Place to Work data preparation.
Academically, she holds an MBA in Human Resources, a PGPM in HR, a B.Sc. in Home Science from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University, and a Diploma in Housekeeping and Laundry Operations. Her additional certifications include Six Sigma Phase 3 completion and Fire Prevention Officer training, reinforcing her structured and compliance-driven approach to HR leadership.
