Ahmed Selim Appointed as Director of Human Resources at Jannah Hotels & Resorts

Jannah Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Ahmed Selim as its new Director of Human Resources, reinforcing the group’s focus on people leadership and organisational excellence as it enters its next phase of growth.

Ahmed Selim brings nearly two decades of experience in Human Capital Management and multi-unit hospitality operations, with a career spanning international markets and the UAE. He joins Jannah Hotels & Resorts from Erth Abu Dhabi, where he served as Human Capital Director and led a workforce of over 4,000 employees across luxury hotels, corporate catering operations, fitness and wellness facilities, and dining venues.

During his tenure at Erth Abu Dhabi, Selim was instrumental in delivering large-scale transformation initiatives, including HR strategy redesign, organisational restructuring, KPI alignment, and group-wide digital HR modernisation. He also played a critical role in HR planning and workforce readiness for COP28 UAE, contributing to the successful execution of one of the region’s most significant global events.

Prior to this, Selim spent nearly a decade with Rixos Hotels, holding several senior HR leadership positions, including Director of Talent and Culture. His experience with the luxury hospitality brand further strengthened his expertise in talent development, cultural transformation, and people engagement across complex hospitality portfolios.

Known for his strategic mindset, deep understanding of UAE labour law, and commitment to inclusive, people-focused workplaces, Selim’s appointment reflects Jannah Hotels & Resorts’ continued investment in strengthening organisational culture and enhancing employee experiences.
