Global professional services and investment management firm Colliers has announced two key global C‑suite appointments as part of a strategic leadership transition designed to support the company’s continued growth across its major business platforms.
The company has appointed Christian Mayer as Global Chief Financial Officer and CEO of Commercial Real Estate, while Elias Mulamoottil has been named Global Chief Investment Officer and CEO of Engineering.
Christian Mayer Takes Expanded Global Role
Christian Mayer will serve as Global Chief Financial Officer while also leading the company’s Commercial Real Estate segment as Chief Executive Officer. In this expanded role, Mayer will continue to oversee Colliers’ enterprise‑wide financial strategy while driving growth and value creation across the firm’s largest business platform.
The Commercial Real Estate division is one of the company’s core businesses, delivering services including capital markets advisory, leasing, and outsourcing solutions across multiple property asset classes worldwide.
Elias Mulamoottil to Lead Global Engineering Platform
Elias Mulamoottil has been appointed Global Chief Investment Officer and CEO of Engineering. In this role, he will lead the continued expansion of Colliers’ engineering platform while overseeing the company’s enterprise‑wide investment strategy.
The engineering division has become a major growth engine for the firm in recent years, providing services such as architecture, consulting, civil engineering, and project management for public and private sector clients.
Supporting Strategic Growth
The appointments come as part of a broader succession plan within the organization, following the planned retirement of long‑time executive Chris McLernon, CEO of Real Estate Services.
