Sunday Hotels, a global hospitality brand under Prism backed by SoftBank, has appointed Firoz Khan as Director and Channel Head – Business Development, strengthening its leadership team as it advances its strategy focused on expansion and partnership-led growth. Khan brings over 16 years of experience in market strategy, real estate advisory, and brand development.
Firoz Khan’s Mandate for Sunday Hotels Expansion
In his new role, Firoz Khan will lead business development and channel strategy across the Sunday Hotels portfolio. His responsibilities include identifying high-potential markets, strengthening partner ecosystems, and building a scalable framework for growth aligned with the company’s long-term expansion plans.
He will work on developing structured partnerships, enhancing distribution channels, and aligning market entry strategies with business objectives. The role is central to driving expansion across multiple geographies while ensuring consistency in execution and brand positioning.

Khan’s role involves working closely with developers, institutional stakeholders, and strategic partners to unlock new opportunities. Firoz Khan brings extensive experience in new market entry strategy, brand positioning, mall zoning, tenant mix planning, and retail expansion. Over the years, he has developed strong relationships with developers, retailers, and institutional stakeholders, enabling successful deal-making across diverse real estate markets.
His career spans leading advisory firms and development platforms, where he has worked across multiple markets nationwide. His expertise includes aligning brand strategies with evolving market dynamics and delivering expansion frameworks tailored to different regional requirements.
Previous Roles and Key Contributions
Prior to joining Sunday Hotels, Khan served as Vice President and Head – North India Business at PPZ. In this role, he managed the regional portfolio, driving growth initiatives, developer partnerships, and asset acquisition while overseeing business planning and performance. His responsibilities also included marketing, operations, budgeting, leasing, and overall execution.
Earlier, as Associate Director at Colliers International, he led business development initiatives and supported expansion strategies for retailers and developers across the country. He worked with major clients including Walmart, Metro Cash & Carry, and PVR INOX, contributing to retail expansion strategies, particularly in Tier II and III markets.
His professional journey also includes roles at Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE, and JLL, where he gained experience in advisory, leasing, and strategic planning across the real estate and hospitality ecosystem.
