LONDON — Clermont Hotel Group has appointed Hannah Myles, Group Health and Safety Manager, as its Access Champion through its membership of the Accessible Hospitality Alliance. Myles has also been elected as one of three stewards of the newly formed Access Champions Collective. The peer group established through aha membership to keep accessibility visible and progressing across hospitality organisations.
Hannah Myles Appointed Access Champion at Clermont Hotel Group
Myles holds the MCIEH designation and brings her background in health and safety management to the Access Champion role. This creates a defined internal point of ownership for accessibility across Clermont Hotel Group's portfolio. The group's hotels include The Clermont London Victoria, The Clermont London Charing Cross and The Clermont London Gatwick Airport.
Her appointment means accessibility sits within an operational function rather than remaining a corporate commitment without a named owner.
Clermont Hotel Group Joins the Access Champions Collective as a Steward
Hannah Myles has joined the Access Champions Collective, formed following the inaugural gathering at Kimpton Fitzroy London. The collective brings together Access Champions appointed by aha member organisations to share operational experience, practical thinking and honest peer exchange.
At the first meeting, the group selected three stewards to help guide the collective's early development. Myles was elected alongside Ian Bartlett, Head of Built Environment at Swinton Estate, and James Dixon-Box, Operations Director at Marsham Court Hotel. Stewardship is designed to rotate over time.
The collective is building a shared knowledge environment to support ongoing exchange between members between gatherings. It continues to meet both online and in person.
