BHOPAL — Jyoti Mishra has been named General Manager of Hyatt Place Bhopal, the 99-key upscale property near Rani Kamalapati Railway Station that marks Hyatt's entry into Madhya Pradesh's capital. Mishra has been part of the property since its pre-opening phase and now leads the hotel's full operations as it opens its doors to business and leisure travellers in the city.

Jyoti Mishra Takes Charge as General Manager at Hyatt Place Bhopal

Mishra steps into the General Manager role at a property she helped build from the ground up. Being part of a pre-opening team and then leading the hotel as it goes live is a different kind of challenge than walking into an already running operation, and it is something she has done more than once in her career.

At Hyatt Place Bhopal, she oversees all hotel operations with a focus on guest experience, team performance and delivering the brand's service standards across a 99-key property that includes around 15,000 sq ft of event space, a grand ballroom, an all-day dining restaurant, an outdoor pool and a fitness centre.

Over Two Decades Across Taj Hotels and Hyatt Hotels Corporation

Jyoti Mishra started her hospitality career with Taj Hotels, where she spent nine years progressing from Front Office Assistant to Assistant Operations Manager. That foundation in rooms and operations at one of India's most established luxury hotel groups shaped how she approaches the guest experience side of hotel management.

She joined Hyatt Hotels Corporation as a Front Office Manager and worked her way through multiple leadership roles across Hyatt properties. She served as General Manager at Grand Hyatt Goa and Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, gaining experience in large-format resort operations before taking on the General Manager role at Baale Resort Goa. Most recently before Bhopal, she led Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara as General Manager — her first Hyatt Place leadership role, and a direct step toward this appointment.

Across all of it, pre-opening work has been a consistent thread. Setting up a hotel's operational systems, standards and teams before the first guest arrives is a specialised skill, and Mishra has made it a defining part of how she works.
