Fairmont Hotels & Resorts appoints Kristian Campbell as General Manager of Fairmont St Andrews with over two decades of leadership experience.

ST ANDREWS, Scotland — Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has appointed Kristian Campbell as General Manager of Fairmont St Andrews, bringing more than two decades of leadership across luxury hospitality and healthcare to the role.
Campbell takes charge of operations, team culture and transformation at the resort.
Kristian Campbell Brings Two Decades of Leadership Experience to Fairmont St Andrews
Campbell most recently served as Managing Director at Elanic Medical. Before that, he held General Manager positions at Crieff Hydro Hotel and Resort and the Rusacks Hotel in St Andrews.
His career also includes senior roles with BMI Healthcare and Qhotels at The Cambridge Belfry, along with experience as Proprietor of Sessions Bar and Etat Italian restaurant.
St Andrews Market Familiarity Strengthens His Appointment
Campbell's earlier tenure at the Rusacks Hotel gives him direct familiarity with the St Andrews market, a factor that supported his selection for the Fairmont role.
His background spans both luxury hospitality and private healthcare operations, giving him a wide-ranging operational perspective.
Industry Involvement and Academic Background
Campbell serves as a Voluntary Board Member for Hospitality Apprenticeship Scotland and previously held a board role with Apprenticeship in Hospitality Scotland.
He is an alumnus of Ashridge Business School. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has not announced further leadership changes alongside this appointment.
