TURI, Puglia, Italy — Opera Hotels has appointed Monica Suri to lead the opening and positioning of Tenuta di Menelao, a luxury Hotel and Spa in Turi, Puglia, which will join The Luxury Collection brand of Marriott International upon opening.
Suri joins from Atmosphere Core in the Maldives, where she served as Vice President of Business Development.
Monica Suri Brings 20 Years of International Luxury Hospitality Experience
Before her role at Atmosphere Core, Suri served as General Manager at prestigious international resorts with Atmosphere Core, Baglioni Hotels and Resorts and Marriott International, accumulating experience in new property development, luxury facility repositioning and management of international clientele.
Her academic background includes executive programmes at Cornell University and an MBA in Sales and Marketing from the Indira Gandhi National Open University.
New Role Centres on Opening and Positioning Landmark Puglia Property
Monica Suri will oversee the opening of Tenuta di Menelao and contribute to the broader development of Opera Hotels' luxury hospitality vision in Italy.

Tenuta di Menelao to Join Marriott's Luxury Collection
Tenuta di Menelao is set to become part of The Luxury Collection, Marriott International's portfolio of distinctive luxury hotels and resorts. The property is positioned to establish itself as a leading luxury destination in Southern Italy upon opening.
