Uma Mohesh Joins Sea Valley Hotels as Corporate VP Operations

INDIA — Sea Valley Hotels and Resorts has appointed Uma Mohesh as Corporate Vice President Operations, placing an experienced hospitality operations leader at the head of multi-property performance as the group builds its leadership structure for expansion.

In his new role, Mohesh oversees operational strategies across the Sea Valley Hotels and Resorts portfolio. His responsibilities span property-level operational performance, service delivery standards, guest experience consistency and support for the group's leadership teams across its hotels. He works alongside the group's corporate leadership to align day-to-day operations with broader business objectives and growth plans.

The appointment is part of a broader strengthening of senior leadership at Sea Valley Hotels and Resorts. The group recently also appointed Shriram Singh Parihar as Corporate Vice President, HR and Operations, placing two experienced professionals at the corporate level to manage the combined people and operations function as the portfolio grows.

A Role Defined by Operational Consistency and Service Standards

Uma Mohesh's mandate at Sea Valley Hotels and Resorts centres on three areas. The first is operational efficiency ensuring that each property in the portfolio runs at a consistent standard across rooms, food and beverage, maintenance and guest services. The second is property leadership support, working directly with General Managers and department heads to strengthen capability and performance at the property level. The third is guest experience, maintaining the service philosophy that underpins the brand's market positioning across its hotels.

Managing operational consistency across a multi-property portfolio is a different challenge from running a single hotel. Each property has its own market, team and guest profile, and the corporate operations function exists to ensure that the brand's standards are lived and maintained across all of them rather than varying from property to property.
