BISHANGARH — Alila Fort Bishangarh has appointed Yatharth Singh Rajawat as Housekeeping Manager, bringing over seven years of hospitality experience to the 236-year-old warrior fort turned luxury heritage resort in Rajasthan's Shahpura district.

Rajawat takes charge of housekeeping operations at Alila Fort Bishangarh, overseeing room presentation standards, public area upkeep, team management and cleanliness across a property where heritage architecture and luxury hospitality operate in the same space. The fort's two-metre thick walls, turrets and original structure place a different set of housekeeping demands on a team compared to a conventional hotel.

He is originally from Jaipur and carries a personal guiding principle into every role he takes on: "Details create experiences. Leave it better than you found it." At a heritage property of this standing, that kind of mindset is exactly what the role requires.

Rajawat's Career Trajectory and Brand Experience

Yatharth Singh Rajawat studied at the Institute of Hotel Management Bangalore and began his career as a Hotel Operations Management Trainee at Taj Yeshwantpur. That foundation at a Taj property gave him early exposure to both operational processes and housekeeping standards at a high-volume, luxury city hotel.

From there, his career moved through Marriott International and Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, two groups with distinctly different approaches to housekeeping and guest experience. His most recent roles before Alila were at Courtyard by Marriott Outer Ring Road Bengaluru and Fairfield by Marriott Outer Ring Road Bengaluru, where he built operational experience across both an upscale and a select-service Marriott property.

Working across Taj, Oberoi and Marriott over seven years means Rajawat has absorbed three of the most rigorous housekeeping cultures in Indian luxury hospitality. Each group protects its standards differently, and carrying that range into a heritage resort is a strong foundation for the role.
