Cincinnati’s highly anticipated Fidelity Hotel has announced the appointment of its executive leadership team as preparations continue for the property’s official opening in July 2026.
The leadership appointments mark a major milestone for the boutique hotel project, which will bring a new lifestyle hospitality experience to downtown Cincinnati. The hotel is being developed and operated by hospitality company New Waterloo and will be located within the city’s historic Gwynne Building.
Experienced Leadership to Guide the Launch
The newly appointed leadership team will oversee the hotel’s pre‑opening operations and play a key role in shaping the guest experience, operational strategy, and service culture ahead of the debut.
Among the key appointments is General Manager Michael Dunbar, who will lead the property’s overall operations. With extensive hospitality experience, Dunbar will oversee team development, operational strategy, and the launch of the hotel’s guest services.
The leadership team will also include senior executives responsible for food and beverage operations, sales and marketing, and guest experience management, ensuring the hotel delivers a high standard of service from day one.
A New Boutique Hotel for Downtown Cincinnati
The Fidelity Hotel is set to become a prominent addition to Cincinnati’s growing hospitality scene. The property will feature approximately 165 guest rooms, including suites and specialty accommodations designed for both leisure and business travelers.
Located in the city’s Fountain District, the hotel will offer convenient access to major downtown attractions, cultural institutions, and sports venues. Its central location is expected to make it an attractive option for visitors attending events at nearby venues and the Duke Energy Convention Center.
Designed as a Lifestyle Destination
Beyond guestrooms, the hotel will feature a range of guest amenities designed to create a vibrant social atmosphere. These include a signature restaurant, a lobby bar, a market café, and flexible meeting and event spaces.
The property will also offer more than 7,000 square feet of event and meeting space, making it suitable for corporate gatherings, social events, and private celebrations.
Additional amenities will include a 24‑hour fitness center and locally inspired design elements that highlight Cincinnati’s culture, history, and creative community.
Strengthening Cincinnati’s Hospitality Landscape
The opening of the Fidelity Hotel reflects continued investment in Cincinnati’s tourism and hospitality sectors. As the city attracts more visitors and major events, new hotel developments are helping expand accommodation options in the downtown area.
Once operational, the hotel is expected to contribute to the city’s growing lifestyle hospitality segment while creating new employment opportunities in the local market.
With the executive leadership team now in place, preparations for the July 2026 opening are moving forward as the hotel positions itself to become one of Cincinnati’s most distinctive boutique destinations.
