M. Yogeshwar Nominated for HCP Human Resources Award 2026 – The People’s Choice for Hospitality Excellence

As the hospitality industry continues to recognise emerging HR leaders who play a critical role in building strong operational foundations, nominations for the HCP Human Resources Award 2026 – The People’s Choice for Hospitality Excellence have brought several professionals into focus. Among this year’s nominees is M. Yogeshwar, Assistant Manager – Human Resources at Maira Resort & Convention Centre, Raipur.

With close to five years of hands-on experience in human resources and administration, M. Yogeshwar has developed a strong profile in HR operations, compliance, employee relations, and people management within the hospitality and services sectors. His professional journey includes experience with resort, hotel, and corporate environments, giving him a balanced understanding of operational HR requirements.

Currently associated with Maira Resort & Convention Centre, Raipur, Yogeshwar is part of the pre-opening HR leadership team, where he plays a key role in setting up HR systems, policies, and processes. His responsibilities include recruitment and hiring, onboarding, leave management, performance evaluation, employee records management, disciplinary processes, and ongoing training and development. His involvement in pre-opening activities reflects his ability to build HR frameworks that support smooth hotel operations and positive workplace culture from the outset.

Prior to this, Yogeshwar worked with Mayfair Lake Resort Raipur and The Triton by Daiichi Hotels, where he handled core HR executive responsibilities, supporting day-to-day people operations, employee engagement, and compliance. His earlier corporate experience with Nova Industries further strengthened his exposure to HR administration, workforce planning, and industrial discipline.

Academically, M. Yogeshwar holds a Master of Business Administration, along with a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He is also pursuing a Bachelor of Law, reflecting his growing interest in labour laws, compliance, and governance. His technical proficiency includes hands-on experience with HRMIS platforms, IDS Software, Spine HR, Easy Pro, On Time Software, and Microsoft applications.
