April 2026: Country Inn Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Espire Hospitality Limited, has expanded its presence in India with the launch of three new properties in Goa, Katra, and Patna, adding a combined inventory of 130 keys. The openings come in the same month as three earlier launches in Uttarakhand, taking the brand’s recent expansion tally to six hotels.

The latest additions reflect a multi-market strategy targeting leisure, pilgrimage, and urban business segments. With these openings, the brand continues to diversify its footprint across high-demand destinations while aligning its formats with evolving travel patterns.

130 keys added across leisure, pilgrimage and urban markets

The 44-key Country Inn, Goa marks the brand’s entry into one of India’s key coastal leisure destinations. Located approximately five minutes from Calangute Beach, the property offers access to North Goa’s tourism circuit, including beaches, dining hubs, and entertainment zones. The hotel includes an all-day dining restaurant, Ruhani, a poolside bar named Liquid, a swimming pool, and a mix of rooms and suites designed with contemporary interiors.

In North India, the company has opened Country Inn, Katra, a 36-room property positioned in a major pilgrimage corridor. Situated on Jammu Road near Fountain Chowk, the hotel serves travellers visiting the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. The property includes an all-day dining restaurant, Rasalika, along with round-the-clock services tailored for short-stay religious travel.

In eastern India, the launch of Country Inn Smart Stays, Patna introduces a new-format property in a key commercial centre. The 50-room hotel is located on Fraser Road, offering proximity to business districts as well as city landmarks such as Mahavir Mandir, ISKCON Temple Patna, Golghar, and Bihar Museum. The property includes a restaurant and event infrastructure comprising two banquet halls and a boardroom.

Six hotel openings in one month signal accelerated rollout

The three new openings follow the company’s earlier expansion in Uttarakhand, where it launched properties in Rishikesh and Dehradun earlier in April. With six hotel openings within a single month, the brand is accelerating its rollout across multiple geographies.

This rapid pace of expansion highlights a strategic approach focused on capturing demand across distinct travel segments. By entering leisure-heavy markets such as Goa, religious destinations like Katra, and emerging urban centres such as Patna, the company is positioning itself to serve a broader mix of travellers.

Portfolio diversification through multiple formats

The introduction of the “Smart Stays” format in Patna reflects an effort to adapt offerings based on market requirements. While traditional Country Inn properties cater to full-service stays, the Smart Stays concept is positioned to address demand in urban centres with a focus on functionality and efficiency.

Across all three properties, the brand has maintained a consistent focus on essential hospitality infrastructure, including dining, event spaces, and location-driven convenience. This allows the portfolio to remain flexible while catering to varied guest expectations across segments.

Focus on location-led growth strategy

According to company leadership, the expansion is designed to deepen presence across India by tapping into high-demand micro-markets. The selection of locations reflects a mix of established tourism hubs and growing urban centres, enabling the brand to capture both transient and destination-driven demand.

The Goa property targets leisure travellers seeking coastal experiences, while the Katra hotel aligns with steady pilgrimage traffic. Meanwhile, the Patna property is positioned to cater to business travel and social events in a developing commercial hub.

With these additions, Country Inn Hotels & Resorts continues to scale its national footprint while refining its positioning across segments. The recent cluster of openings indicates a structured expansion approach, combining geographic spread with format diversification to align with evolving travel demand across India.
