Eden Realty Group to Invest ₹5,000 Crore in Residential and Hospitality Projects by 2030
Eden Realty Group has announced plans to invest ₹5,000 crore in residential, commercial and hospitality developments along the Hooghly riverfront, including five luxury hotels and a major riverside residential project in Kolkata by 2030.

Eden Realty Group has unveiled a comprehensive investment plan worth ₹5,000 crore targeting residential, commercial and hospitality developments along both banks of the Hooghly River, with a timeline extending to 2030.
Luxury Hotels to Boost Hospitality
For the first time, the company is entering the hospitality sector with plans for five luxury hotels totalling around 600 rooms. These properties will be developed in key locations in and around Kolkata, Howrah and South 24 Parganas.
Residential and Mixed‑Use Projects
In addition to hospitality, Eden Realty will develop a major riverside premium residential project comprising more than 1,000 units across multiple towers. Other components include commercial developments and mixed‑use spaces aimed at enhancing the riverfront’s appeal.
Strategic Locations and Plans
The hospitality projects include an 80‑room hotel on a riverside plot and a 300‑room hotel project in a large leased area at Garden Reach. Plans also call for properties at Raichak and Budge Budge, as well as other mixed‑use developments along Strand Road.

The group’s strategy reflects a long‑term vision to transform the Hooghly riverfront into a vibrant urban and tourism hub, expanding from its traditional residential focus into broader urban and leisure‑focused development.
