Hard Rock Expands Hospitality Presence in Brazil

The upcoming Hard Rock Hotel Gramado is planned to feature 858 guestrooms, restaurants, bars, leisure facilities, retail areas, a spa, music-inspired amenities, meeting spaces, and entertainment concepts aligned with Hard Rock International’s global hospitality identity.

The first development phase, expected to open by late 2028, will include 431 guestrooms.

Gramado Strengthens Position as a Premium Tourism Destination

Industry experts note that Gramado has become one of Brazil’s most sought-after tourism markets due to its strong leisure appeal, winter tourism, and growing luxury hospitality sector.

The resort is designed to reflect Gramado’s mountain architecture and premium tourism positioning while integrating Hard Rock’s signature music-focused guest experience.

The development is also expected to create regional economic impact through employment generation, tourism growth, and increased visitor spending across the Serra Gaúcha region.

According to project leaders, the resort will combine upscale accommodations, entertainment-driven hospitality, wellness experiences, gastronomy, and event infrastructure within one integrated destination.

Fractional Ownership and Experiential Tourism Drive Growth

The hotel will operate under a fractional ownership concept, allowing buyers to purchase ownership interests tied to shared-use vacation experiences and premium resort stays.

Mundo Planalto said the project aims to combine long-term tourism investment opportunities with international hospitality standards.

Hard Rock International, which operates across nearly 80 countries, is expected to manage the property after construction is completed.

Hospitality analysts say experiential tourism, entertainment-led hospitality, and branded resort developments continue shaping luxury travel trends across Brazil and wider Latin America.
