April 28, 2026 – Asia Pacific: Hilton has announced plans to introduce eight luxury and lifestyle brands into new markets across Asia Pacific this year, alongside more than 15 additional openings scheduled for 2026, as the group accelerates expansion in one of its fastest-growing regions.
The new developments will add to Hilton’s existing portfolio of over 170 operating luxury and lifestyle hotels in Asia Pacific, moving the company closer to its target of exceeding 250 properties in these segments in the coming years.
Eight brand debuts across key Asia Pacific markets
The expansion includes several first-time brand entries across major cities and leisure destinations. Notably, NoMad will enter Singapore, while Signia by Hilton will debut in Tainan, marking the Asia Pacific introduction of both brands.
In Southeast Asia, Canopy by Hilton Bangkok Sukhumvit will establish the brand’s presence in the region, expanding Hilton’s boutique lifestyle offering. South Asia will see the debut of Curio Collection by Hilton and LXR Hotels & Resorts in Bengaluru through Slohh by Roach and The Den Bengaluru respectively.
These additions will increase Hilton’s brand footprint in Asia Pacific to 16 brands out of its global portfolio of 27.
Country-level entries and strategic locations
Hilton is also expanding into new country markets with luxury offerings. In Malaysia, the company will introduce Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur and Conrad Kuala Lumpur in the Golden Triangle District, both expected to open by the end of 2026.
In Vietnam, the launch of NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An under the Tapestry Collection by Hilton will mark the brand’s entry into a culturally significant leisure destination.
These openings reflect Hilton’s focus on both gateway cities and high-demand resort markets, aligning with evolving travel preferences across the region.
Pipeline strengthens with new signings
Hilton’s pipeline continues to grow with more than 80 luxury and lifestyle hotels currently under development across Asia Pacific. Recent signings include two LXR Hotels & Resorts properties in Tokyo and Hakone Gora, along with a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel in Chiang Mai.
Additional projects announced this year include Waldorf Astoria Goa, Motto by Hilton Sydney City Centre, Conrad Ulaanbaatar, and an LXR Hotels & Resorts property on Australia’s Gold Coast. These developments highlight sustained owner interest in both urban and resort destinations.
Operational growth supported by new openings
Alongside upcoming debuts, Hilton continues to expand its operational footprint with new openings in 2026. These include Conrad Nagoya, which provides access to key business and cultural districts, and the recently opened Canopy by Hilton in Okinawa.
In Thailand, the group is set to open Kahavadi Chiang Rai under the Curio Collection and Nivata Koh Samui under the Tapestry Collection. In China, Xi Zhe Wuxi and Shanghai Parkview Hotel, both under the Curio Collection, will further strengthen Hilton’s presence in major urban markets.
Rising demand drives luxury and lifestyle growth
Hilton’s expansion strategy is being driven by increasing demand for experience-led travel, particularly in the luxury and lifestyle segments. The company cited strong owner interest in differentiated brands that cater to travellers seeking design-led stays, local cultural integration, and high service standards.
According to the company, Asia Pacific continues to act as a key growth engine, supported by rising domestic and international travel, as well as increasing demand across both city and resort destinations.
With a diversified pipeline and multiple brand debuts across markets, Hilton is positioning its luxury and lifestyle portfolio to capture sustained growth opportunities across the region.
