Marriott Expands Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Portfolio
Marriott Riviera Maya all-inclusive resort will feature 980 rooms, luxury amenities, and Aimbridge-managed operations in Mexico.
Marriott Riviera Maya all-inclusive resort expansion is set to reshape luxury hospitality in Mexico following a landmark partnership between Grupo Satli, Marriott International, and Aimbridge Hospitality.
The new 980-room beachfront resort will be developed in Riviera Maya and is expected to initially operate as an independent property before officially joining the Marriott Hotels All-Inclusive portfolio in 2027.
Industry analysts believe the project highlights the continued growth of all-inclusive luxury hospitality across Mexico and the wider Caribbean tourism market.
The development will be owned by Grupo Satli and operated by Aimbridge Hospitality’s specialized All-Inclusive Division.
According to company executives, the partnership combines Grupo Satli’s investment capabilities, Marriott International’s global brand recognition, and Aimbridge Hospitality’s operational expertise within the all-inclusive resort segment.
The resort will be developed across a massive 445-acre beachfront site featuring more than 1,300 feet of coastline in Riviera Maya.
Hospitality experts note that large-scale beachfront developments continue attracting strong investor interest due to rising international demand for experiential luxury travel and premium resort stays.
The upcoming resort will include 13 food and beverage outlets, 12 swimming pools, expansive water attractions, and a large-scale spa facility designed to appeal to international leisure travelers.
Additional facilities will include more than 43,000 square feet of indoor meetings and event space, two tennis courts, a Lazy River attraction, and multiple entertainment amenities.
Industry observers suggest the project reflects growing demand for integrated resort ecosystems where travelers can access accommodation, dining, wellness, recreation, and entertainment within a single destination.
The Riviera Maya region remains one of Mexico’s strongest-performing tourism destinations.
Strong international arrivals from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Latin America continue supporting expansion across luxury and all-inclusive hospitality categories.
Marriott International has steadily expanded its all-inclusive footprint across Mexico in recent years.
The company already operates Marriott Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort, and continues introducing new luxury resort developments throughout major leisure destinations.
Hospitality analysts believe Mexico remains one of the most competitive all-inclusive tourism markets globally due to its strong air connectivity, beachfront destinations, and year-round travel demand.
Aimbridge Hospitality was selected to manage the property because of its operational expertise in Mexico and its growing all-inclusive management portfolio across Latin America.
The company currently manages Marriott-branded properties across Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum.
Industry experts note that international hotel groups increasingly rely on specialized management operators to maximize guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and long-term asset performance.
The resort is also expected to strengthen Riviera Maya’s position within the global luxury tourism market.
Travel demand across the Caribbean and Mexico has continued growing rapidly as travelers increasingly prioritize immersive beach vacations, wellness tourism, and experience-driven leisure travel.
The project further reflects Marriott International’s broader expansion strategy within the all-inclusive hospitality sector.
With nearly 10,000 properties worldwide, Marriott continues accelerating development across luxury, premium, lifestyle, and resort categories to capture evolving global travel demand.
Hospitality investors believe integrated all-inclusive resorts will remain one of the fastest-growing segments in international tourism over the coming decade.
The Marriott Riviera Maya all-inclusive resort is expected to become a major addition to Mexico’s luxury hospitality landscape while supporting tourism growth, employment generation, and long-term investment activity across the Riviera Maya region.
