Hanoi, April 2026 — Palladium Hotel Group has signed a hotel management agreement with Hanoitourist to redevelop the historic Hòa Bình Hotel into a five-star luxury property under its BLESS Collection Hotels brand, with the project set to deliver 80 suites following a full-scale renovation scheduled to begin in 2026.

Agreement Marks Second Vietnam Project for Palladium

The Hanoi project represents Palladium Hotel Group’s second signed development in Vietnam, following its previously announced BLESS Collection Hotels resort in Ninh Van Bay, which is scheduled to open in 2027. The agreement strengthens the group’s expansion strategy in the Asia-Pacific region, where it is actively building a presence beyond its traditional markets in Europe and the Americas.

The partnership with Hanoitourist, a key public-sector tourism entity, signals a collaborative approach to entering high-growth destinations. The company stated that Vietnam is a strategic market, reflecting increasing international demand for premium hospitality offerings with strong cultural integration.

Historic Property to Undergo Full Renovation

Located in central Hanoi, within walking distance of major landmarks such as Hoan Kiem Lake and the Opera House, the Hòa Bình Hotel will be fully renovated and repositioned as a luxury hotel. The redevelopment aims to retain the building’s historical significance while integrating contemporary design elements inspired by Vietnamese culture.

Construction is expected to commence in 2026 and continue for approximately 24 months. Upon completion, the property will feature 80 suites, positioning it within the upper-upscale segment of the market.

The transformation reflects a broader industry shift toward adaptive reuse of heritage assets, where historical structures are repurposed to meet modern luxury standards while preserving architectural identity.

Planned Facilities and Guest Experience

The redeveloped hotel will include a range of upscale facilities designed to align with evolving luxury travel expectations. These include a panoramic rooftop space, a lobby bar reflecting classical architectural themes, and a signature restaurant focused on sensory dining experiences.

Additional amenities will feature a ballroom inspired by Hanoi’s historic design era, as well as a private outdoor swimming pool positioned as an urban retreat. The overall concept is intended to combine heritage preservation with contemporary hospitality functionality.

The integration of local cultural elements into design and service delivery is expected to cater to travellers seeking immersive experiences, a segment that continues to grow within global luxury tourism.

BLESS Collection Expansion Strategy

The Hanoi development forms part of Palladium Hotel Group’s broader strategy to expand its BLESS Collection Hotels brand, which is positioned in the luxury segment. The brand currently operates properties in Madrid and Ibiza and is planning additional openings in Barcelona and Milan, alongside further expansion in Ibiza.

Within Vietnam, the Hanoi hotel will complement the upcoming Ninh Van Bay resort, allowing the group to establish a presence across both urban and leisure markets. This dual-market strategy aligns with wider hospitality trends where operators are targeting diversified demand streams.

The group’s expansion roadmap focuses on prime destinations with strong return potential, combining selective growth with the development of differentiated high-end products.

Strengthening Regional Presence in Asia-Pacific

In addition to the Hanoi project, Palladium Hotel Group has announced plans to open a regional Asia-Pacific office in Ho Chi Minh City. The new office is expected to support operational growth, facilitate new development opportunities, and strengthen partnerships across the region.

The agreement with Hanoitourist is positioned as the beginning of a long-term collaboration aimed at enhancing Vietnam’s luxury hospitality landscape. The project also reflects a wider industry trend toward partnerships between international operators and local institutions to accelerate development in emerging markets.
