SHANGHAI, May 26, 2026 — Radisson Hotel Group and Jin Jiang International Hotels have officially opened the Radisson Blu Hotel, Shanghai Eastern Hub, marking the launch of the upper-upscale brand’s flagship property in Shanghai.
The new hotel features 445 soundproof guestrooms equipped with intelligent lighting systems and business-focused hospitality facilities positioned near Shanghai Pudong International Airport and the future Shanghai East Railway Station.
Radisson Blu Shanghai Eastern Hub Targets Business Travelers
The hotel is located within the Shanghai Eastern Hub International Business Cooperation zone, an area connected to China’s broader international business and transport development strategy.
According to the company, the property sits approximately 13 kilometers from Shanghai Pudong International Airport and four kilometers from the under-construction Shanghai East Railway Station.
Hospitality executives said the location is designed to support international business travel through improved air and rail connectivity alongside China’s updated visa and travel policies.
The hotel combines contemporary hospitality design with Eastern-inspired architectural influences, incorporating elements associated with Shanghai’s Shikumen residences, Art Deco heritage and Jiangnan aesthetics.

Guestrooms and suites feature intelligent room controls, multimedia entertainment systems and high-speed digital connectivity designed for modern business and leisure travelers.
The hotel also includes multiple dining venues, including an all-day restaurant and the Chinese restaurant Jin Yan, which offers Shanghai, Jiangsu-Zhejiang and Cantonese cuisine through private dining spaces.
An executive lounge overlooking Shanghai’s skyline provides additional facilities for business meetings and private guest experiences.
Industry analysts say business-focused hospitality projects continue expanding across major Chinese gateway cities as international travel and convention activity recover.

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Shanghai Eastern Hub offers more than 6,700 square meters of meeting and event space, including a pillarless conference hall, viewing theater and eight multifunction meeting rooms.
The hospitality group said the property is positioned to host international conferences, innovation forums, exhibitions and corporate events supported by advanced audiovisual systems and transportation access.
The hotel also includes wellness and leisure facilities such as a temperature-controlled swimming pool and fitness center aimed at long-stay and business guests.
