HYDERABAD, May 20, 2026: Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. (ROHL) has opened Regenta Place Hi-Tech City in Hyderabad, marking the company's first property in Telangana and the debut of the Regenta Place brand in the Cyberabad district.

The 74-room hotel sits in the heart of HITEC City, one of India's most active technology and commercial corridors, and targets business travellers and leisure guests seeking urban connectivity across the Hyderabad market.

Location at the centre of Hyderabad's tech belt

Regenta Place Hi-Tech City occupies a position close to Mindspace IT Hub, IKEA, Inorbit Mall and the Shilparamam cultural centre, giving guests walking or short-drive access to the area's principal commercial and retail landmarks.

Connectivity to the rest of the city is direct: Raidurg Metro Station is nearby, and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is accessible from the property without navigating the more congested parts of central Hyderabad. Durgam Cheruvu, a city lake popular with residents, offers an accessible leisure option for guests staying at the property.

Room mix and facilities

The hotel offers 74 keys across three categories, suites, executive rooms and business rooms, designed to serve both extended corporate stays and shorter visits. The mix reflects the dual demand pattern common to HITEC City properties, where tech-sector professionals often combine longer working visits with weekend or leisure travel.

The property's all-day dining venue, named Good Vibes Only, serves a multi-cuisine menu covering international dishes and local Hyderabadi options. A rooftop banquet space measuring 3,000 square feet serves conferences, corporate events and social gatherings.

Management sees Hyderabad as a key market under 2030 plan

Chander K. Baljee, Managing Director of Royal Orchid Hotels, said the Hyderabad launch is part of the group's long-term 2030 expansion strategy. He pointed to Hyderabad's growing IT ecosystem, its heritage tourism appeal and its overall tourism potential as factors that make the city an important target for the hospitality group's continued build-out.

The Telangana entry extends ROHL's Regenta Place brand into a market that has seen sustained demand for mid-to-upper midscale business hotels, supported by the continued growth of the IT and pharmaceutical sectors based in and around Cyberabad.

The Regenta Place positioning within ROHL's portfolio targets the upper midscale traveller, guests who expect consistent service standards, functional business facilities and food and beverage options above the budget segment without paying luxury rates. The brand's arrival in HITEC City puts it alongside established operators from national and international chains that have built a significant inventory in the corridor over the past decade.

ROHL operates hotels and resorts across India under the Royal Orchid and Regenta brand families. The Hyderabad opening adds Telangana to the company's active state presence as it moves toward its 2030 growth targets.
