Tamara Leisure Experiences has revealed plans to significantly expand its hotel portfolio with nine new properties scheduled for launch by 2030, targeting key destination categories and diverse traveller segments. 

Broad Destination Strategy

The expansion will span a mix of **eco‑luxury resorts, cultural and pilgrimage destinations, business and lifestyle hotels, and mid‑segment brands**, reflecting Tamara’s destination‑first growth strategy. Specific locations highlighted in industry reports include Kaziranga (Assam), Bodh Gaya (Bihar), Kerala backwaters, and urban hubs like Bengaluru’s Whitefield market.

As part of the plan, Tamara Leisure will broaden its existing brands and introduce new hospitality formats, from eco‑resort experiences and ultra‑luxury houseboats to midscale Lilac Hotels designed for value‑oriented travellers, aligning with evolving preferences in leisure, pilgrimage, and business tourism.
