NEW DELHI, June 17, 2026 — Commbitz, a London-based eSIM provider, has formed a partnership with IndiGo BluChip, the loyalty programme of low-cost carrier IndiGo, to offer international data to Indian outbound travellers. Under the launch offer, travellers receive 3 GB of free eSIM data and earn 45 IndiGo BluChips for every ₹100 spent with Commbitz.
The Commbitz IndiGo BluChip partnership lets BluChip members activate Commbitz eSIM connectivity for international trips. The companies said the aim is to make overseas connectivity more accessible and to reward it through the airline's loyalty scheme.
The tie-up addresses a common gap, since connectivity is often the last item travellers arrange. The companies said it folds eSIMs into pre-trip planning alongside flights, hotels, visas and forex, so customers are connected on arrival.
Commbitz IndiGo BluChip partnership rewards outbound flyers
Under the campaign, members of IndiGo's BluChip programme earn 45 BluChips for every ₹100 spent on Commbitz. The 3 GB complimentary plan applies to international travel, the company said.
Commbitz said the offer positions eSIMs as an alternative to local SIM cards, airport Wi-Fi and conventional roaming. It said users gain data options it describes as more transparent and cost-effective than standard international roaming.
How the free eSIM data offer works
Commbitz said its eSIMs activate through a QR code and operate across more than 190 countries, with round-the-clock customer support. The company said the model removes the need to find a local SIM card overseas or rely on unsecured public Wi-Fi.
Commbitz targets the connectivity gap for Indian travellers
Harsh Jayesh Ruparel, CEO and co-founder of Commbitz, said the company wants to make international connectivity "as seamless as every other part of the travel journey." He said the partnership reaches travellers before they fly and combines convenience, value and loyalty for Indian outbound travellers.
Commbitz, founded in London, launched operations in India in December 2024. The company said it provides eSIM connectivity to outbound travellers and businesses across international destinations.
