MUMBAI, June 12, 2026 — A Michelin Guide restaurant from Abu Dhabi begins a limited residency at two Oberoi Hotels in India this June, bringing a signature open-fire cooking showcase to Fenix in Mumbai and threesixtyone° in Gurgaon.

The culinary event features Chef Jack Jarrot of Sand & Koal, a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant based in Abu Dhabi, presenting a four-day menu that highlights wood-fire-based dishes and regional ingredients. The residency runs from June 24 through June 27.

Michelin Guide Restaurant Debut at Oberoi Hotels

The residency marks Sand & Koal’s first showcase in India through the Oberoi Hotels partnership. Chef Jarrot will lead the kitchen team in crafting menus that blend open-fire techniques with contemporary flavours, inviting diners to explore creative interpretations of grilled and smoked cuisine. 

“This opportunity allows our kitchen to present a culinary dialogue between Abu Dhabi and India,” said Chef Jack Jarrot, executive chef of Sand & Koal. “We aim to bring forward the essence of our fire-based cooking in each dish.”
