HYDERABAD, June 26, 2026 — A new referral-only bar concept called See has opened within TheySee in Jubilee Hills, introducing an invitation-based hospitality experience that limits access to just 22 guests at a time. The venue operates without public reservations, walk-ins or booking platforms, relying entirely on referrals and private access codes.
The concept combines curated cocktails, chef-driven bar food, immersive art installations and a membership-style guest experience designed around exclusivity and personal connections.
See Hyderabad Redefines Access Through Referrals
Founded by Niharika Gollapalli, Chef Suryansh Singh and Darshan Ramchandani, See was conceived as a hidden extension of TheySee, offering guests a more intimate and highly personalized environment.
The venue's access model is intentionally restrictive. Guests can only enter through referrals from existing visitors who receive unique login credentials. Access requests are verified through a dedicated online portal, while the brand’s social media presence remains private.
Immersive Design Creates a Distinct Identity
A red entrance door serves as the gateway into the compact space, where guests encounter Afro-Indian music, personalized LED name badges and a curated atmosphere designed to encourage familiarity and repeat visits.
At the entrance stands a life-sized red Nazar Battu sculpture created by local artist Vinay in collaboration with Lyzure, an art incubation platform founded by co-founder Niharika Gollapalli. The installation serves as both a symbolic guardian and a visual centerpiece.
Art plays a central role throughout the venue. Product designer Rayalu Harshith created mechanical flipbook installations, while ceramic artist Sanjana Reddy designed custom lamps, shot glasses and matchbox ashtrays. Additional installations include a retro television artwork developed through a collaboration with Mumbai-based design student Afshaan.
Indian-Inspired Cocktails Lead the Beverage Program
The cocktail menu, developed by beverage consultant Pradyumna Shanker, draws heavily from Indian ingredients and nostalgia-driven storytelling.
Signature serves include Laura’s Lassan, a tequila and mezcal cocktail featuring black garlic pickle and cacao bitters, and See-Kante, a guava and yuzu interpretation of a Picante-style drink.
One of the venue’s most talked-about offerings is Fake Birthday, which transforms a cocktail order into a full celebration complete with cake, snacks, whistles and a spontaneous rendition of Happy Birthday by the room.
Additional drinks include Whisky Saar, Michelle’s Adda and Tagu Both Tiramisu, a dessert-inspired cocktail layered with coffee liqueur, vodka, Baileys and white chocolate foam.
Chef Suryansh Singh Curates Playful Comfort Food Menu
The food menu balances nostalgia with contemporary presentation. Dishes include Masala Papad topped with avocado tartare, Bheja Fry with gongura and Cheej Keema Pao.
Other highlights include Maggie Nudele, which combines udon noodles with familiar Indian instant noodle flavours, and Bluu Lays, a playful dish served inside a packet resembling a popular potato chip snack.
Main-course offerings feature the Seekh Paratha and NRI Rice Bowl, while desserts include Aaaais Cream, prepared fresh daily, and Chocolate Crime Scene, a warm chocolate lava cake paired with white chocolate ice cream and pistachio crumble.
Exclusive Hospitality Continues to Evolve
As consumers increasingly seek personalized dining and nightlife experiences, hospitality operators are exploring alternative access models that focus on community-building and curated guest experiences rather than scale.
With limited seating, referral-only entry and a strong emphasis on design, storytelling and hospitality, See represents a growing trend toward highly selective experiential venues within India's premium dining and nightlife landscape.
