Alessandra Pagano Appointed Multi-Property GM for St. Regis and Westin
Alessandra Pagano appointed Multi-Property General Manager for The St. Regis Venice and The Westin Palace Milan by Marriott International.
MILAN — Alessandra Pagano has been appointed Multi-Property General Manager for The St. Regis Venice and The Westin Palace Milan. Marriott International has placed her across both landmark Italian luxury properties in a single executive leadership role.
Pagano brings a multi-decade career built almost entirely within these two properties and the wider Marriott luxury portfolio in Italy. She is one of the few GMs in European luxury hospitality who has led both properties independently before taking on the combined role.
Alessandra Pagano Led Both Properties Before This Appointment
She served as General Manager of The Westin Palace Milan from October 2018. Before that she was Hotel Manager at The St. Regis Venice for over five years between 2013 and 2018.
Her connection to The Westin Palace Milan goes further back. She served as Executive Assistant Manager at the same property between 2009 and 2013 before moving to Venice.
Earlier in her career she was Room Division Manager at Excelsior Hotel Gallia in Milan, a Luxury Collection Hotel under Marriott International. That posting grounded her operational foundation in Milan's premium rooms division.
Alessandra Pagano Oversees Two Landmark Italian Luxury Addresses
In her new role, Pagano will oversee operational strategy, market positioning and luxury service standards across both properties. The dual structure covers two of Italy's most recognised hotel addresses in Venice and Milan.
The St. Regis Venice sits on the Grand Canal in one of Europe's most visited cities. The Westin Palace Milan occupies a landmark position in the heart of Italy's financial and fashion capital.
Managing operational synergies across Venice and Milan requires a leader with deep knowledge of both markets. Pagano's direct experience running each property independently makes her well placed for that brief.
She holds an MBA completed in Chur, Switzerland. Her academic background supports the commercial and strategic demands of leading a multi-property luxury portfolio.
The St. Regis Venice and The Westin Palace Milan are both part of Marriott International.
