Andrew Phelan brings more than three decades of experience across leading hotels, resorts and tourism destinations in Ireland and the United Kingdom. A graduate of Shannon College of Hotel Management, his career includes senior leadership roles at Ashford Castle, Lough Erne Resort, The Heritage, Castlemartyr Resort, Mount Juliet Estate and the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews.
Across these roles, he has developed expertise in operational leadership, commercial growth, guest experience management and team development. His experience spans luxury hospitality environments, with a focus on delivering performance outcomes during expansion, redevelopment and operational transitions.
Previous Role in Golf and Tourism Operations
Prior to joining Avalon House Hotel, Phelan served as Managing Director of Seapoint Golf Links. In that role, he led operational and commercial improvements while overseeing the hosting of national-level golf events.
