Devyani Jagtap as Pre-opening General Manager at Lords Hotels Mumbai

 Lords Hotels & Resorts has appointed Devyani Jagtap as General Manager Pre-opening, based at the group's corporate office in Mumbai. Jagtap brings 16 years of hospitality experience, with a focus on pre-opening operations, project execution and operational process implementation.

The appointment lands at an active point in the group's growth. Lords Hotels & Resorts currently manages 70 hotels across 57 destinations in India, Nepal and the United States, with new signings confirmed in Lucknow, Shivamogga, Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, several of them set to open before the end of 2026.

Devyani Jagtap's Role in Lords Hotels Pre-opening as General Manager 

In her new position, Jagtap will lead pre-opening activity across upcoming properties in the group's pipeline. Her work covers project planning, operational readiness, systems implementation, staffing frameworks, service standards, vendor coordination and brand alignment ahead of each launch.

Managing multiple openings across business, leisure and pilgrimage destinations, requires someone who can hold several moving parts in check at once. Jagtap's background in structured project execution is what Lords Hotels has brought in to handle that.

Her role will also involve maintaining operational consistency across the group's expanding network as new properties come online.

A Career Built Around Getting Hotels Ready to Open

Devyani Jagtap has spent 16 years working across operational planning and pre-opening execution in the hospitality industry. Her experience spans ITC Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels group (IHG) hotels and Ramee Group.

Pre-opening work in hospitality requires balancing construction readiness with guest experience setup, commercial launch preparation and staff training often at the same time. It is a function that sits at the cross-section of project management and hotel operations, and Jagtap has built her career squarely in that space.
