Holiday Inn Agra Strengthens Culinary Leadership with Rohit Chauhan as Executive Chef

Holiday Inn Agra has appointed Rohit Chauhan as Executive Chef in April 2026 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, the hotel said, assigning him responsibility for overseeing kitchen operations, menu execution, and food quality standards across its dining outlets and banquet facilities.

Chauhan brings a well-rounded culinary journey shaped across leading hospitality brands. Prior to this role, he served as Executive Chef with Accor in Lucknow, where he played a key role in pre-opening operations and menu engineering at Mercure Lucknow.

He has also held leadership positions with Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, serving as Executive Chef across Delhi and NCR properties, and worked with Hard Rock International as Head Sous Chef in Chandigarh, contributing to high-energy dining concepts and global cuisine formats.

Earlier in his career, Chauhan gained international exposure as Junior Sous Chef at Aloft Me’aisam Dubai, part of a dual-branded property in the UAE, refining his approach to contemporary and global culinary styles.

An alumnus of IHM Shri Shakti, Hyderabad, with a degree in Culinary Science, Chauhan combines technical expertise with hands-on leadership. In his new role, he is expected to elevate the dining experience at Holiday Inn Agra, aligning culinary innovation with guest expectations.

Appointment Announced for Agra Property

The hotel confirmed the appointment as part of its efforts to strengthen culinary leadership at the property, which caters to both domestic and international travellers visiting the city. Chauhan will report to the hotel’s senior management and lead the culinary team, the hotel said.

Role Covers Kitchen Operations and Food Production

As Executive Chef, Chauhan will oversee daily kitchen functions, including food preparation, menu planning, and staff supervision. His responsibilities include ensuring adherence to hygiene protocols, maintaining food quality standards, and managing workflow across kitchen departments.

The hotel said he will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, controlling food costs, and coordinating procurement processes with suppliers.

Focus on Menu Development and Service Delivery

Chauhan will lead menu development across the hotel’s restaurants and banquet operations, ensuring alignment with guest preferences and operational requirements. His role includes reviewing existing menus, introducing new offerings, and maintaining consistency in presentation and portioning.
