Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort has announced the appointment of Sunil Kumar as its new Chief Engineer, further strengthening the resort’s leadership team with experienced technical expertise.

Sunil Kumar brings over 15 years of extensive experience in engineering across the hospitality and manufacturing sectors. Throughout his career, he has worked with several leading hospitality brands including Marriott International, Hilton, Accor, ITC, DLF, Sarovar Hotels, and Cushman & Wakefield, gaining diverse exposure to luxury resorts, city hotels, and large-scale developments.

He began his hospitality journey in 2011 as an Engineering Executive at Marriott Goa and has since built an impressive professional portfolio. His previous assignments include prominent properties such as Grand Mercure Goa Shrem Resort, Conrad Pune, W Goa, The Ritz-Carlton Pune, WelcomHotel by ITC Tavleen Chail, and DLF, where he contributed significantly to engineering operations and project management.

Sunil’s core expertise includes facilities management, electrical and mechanical utilities, and energy conservation. Known for his process-driven approach, he is committed to ensuring seamless hotel operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and asset protection.
