UDAIPUR, Rajasthan — Udaipur Marriott Hotel has appointed Naveen Shekhawat as Director of Engineering, adding a technical operations specialist with more than 20 years of hospitality experience to its leadership team.
Shekhawat's background spans pre-openings, renovations, energy conservation and fire and life safety across some of the industry's most recognised international brands.
Naveen Shekhawat Brings 20 Years of Engineering Leadership to Udaipur Marriott
Shekhawat began his hospitality career with Oberoi Hotels and has since held engineering roles at Taj Hotels, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and Hilton Hotels.
His experience spans both operational and technical management functions, covering the full lifecycle of hotel engineering from pre-opening builds through to ongoing maintenance and energy management.
Technical Expertise to Support Hotel's Operational Standards
At Udaipur Marriott Hotel, Shekhawat will oversee engineering operations and technical management, supporting the property's operational efficiency and guest experience standards.
His fire and life safety expertise is particularly relevant for a full-service hotel operating in a destination market that continues to attract high volumes of domestic and international leisure travellers.
