Raish Shaikh Joins Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai as F&B Manager
Raish Shaikh joins Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai as Food and Beverage Manager, bringing 13 years across Grand Hyatt, Leela, Westin and Aurika Mumbai.
MUMBAI — Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai has appointed Raish Shaikh as Food and Beverage Manager, effective May 12. Shaikh brings over 13 years of F&B experience across Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, The Leela, The Westin and Aurika Mumbai Skycity to the 202-room lifestyle hotel on Juhu Tara Road.
Raish Shaikh Appointed Food and Beverage Manager at Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai
In his new role, Shaikh leads F&B operations at Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai, covering guest experience, team development, operational efficiency and revenue performance across the hotel's dining outlets. The property opened in August 2022 as the Hyatt Centric brand's entry into Maharashtra, and sits close to Juhu Beach with easy access to Bollywood's production hubs and Mumbai's western suburbs.
For Shaikh, the appointment is a return to the Hyatt family, having previously worked at both Grand Hyatt Mumbai and Hyatt Regency Mumbai earlier in his career.
Most Recently Deputy F&B Manager at Aurika Mumbai Skycity
Raish Shaikh joins from Aurika Mumbai Skycity, the luxury brand under Lemon Tree Hotels near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, where he served as Deputy F&B Manager. He also held the Restaurant Manager role at The Leela Mumbai, one of the city's most established luxury hotel addresses, before moving to Aurika.
A Career Built Across Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Westin and Leela in Mumbai
Shaikh started his hospitality career at Grand Hyatt Mumbai, progressing from Associate to Team Leader. He then moved to Hyatt Regency Mumbai as Assistant Restaurant Manager and went on to The Westin Mumbai as Assistant Restaurant Manager within the Marriott International network. His time at The Leela Mumbai as Restaurant Manager followed, before his posting at Aurika.
Working across two Hyatt brands, a Westin property, The Leela and Aurika over 13 years in the same city means Shaikh has operated across Mumbai's luxury hotel market from multiple vantage points. Each brand runs its F&B with a different philosophy and a different guest profile, and that range is directly useful in a hotel F&B Manager role.
Raish holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Anjuman-I-Islam Institute of Hotel Management.
What Raish Shaikh Said About Returning to Hyatt
"I am very thrilled to join Hyatt again. The culture, the team, and the standard of service are something I've always carried with me, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to contribute once again."
— Raish Shaikh, Food and Beverage Manager, Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai
He describes his approach to F&B leadership as people-first, focused on simplifying processes and removing unnecessary bureaucracy so teams can focus on delivering memorable guest experiences. Outside of work, he coaches youth cricket and rides bikes, disciplines he says reflect the same values of discipline, teamwork and consistency he brings to the hotel floor.
