Saurav Banerjee gets promoted to Director of Rooms at Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse after rising through IHG ranks.

BENGALURU — Saurav Banerjee is now Director of Rooms at Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse. IHG Hotels and Resorts gave him the promotion after he worked his way up through the property over several years.
Saurav Banerjee went from Front Office Manager to Room Division Manager to Director of Rooms all within IHG Bengaluru.
Saurav Banerjee Worked Across Five Hotel Brands Before IHG
His first job was with ITC Hotels. He worked in front office before joining Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces for a management training programme.
After that he took a Duty Manager role at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Lemon Tree Hotels followed as Assistant Front Office Manager.
Saurav then moved to Accor in Guwahati as Front Office Manager. That is where he picked up strong knowledge of the Northeast India travel market before joining IHG.
Saurav Banerjee's focus as a director of rooms
He now runs the rooms division at Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse. His work covers guest satisfaction, team performance, revenue analysis and owner relations.
Saurav also handles market trends, product positioning and pre-opening hotel management. He studied at IHM Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition in Kolkata.
