Sumer Rathore Joins The Fern Hotels Kanpur as Operations Manager

KANPUR — The Fern Hotels and Resorts has appointed Sumer Rathore as Operations Manager at its Kanpur property. The promotion is an internal one within the Fern network, moving him from Food and Beverage Manager in Jaipur to his first full operations leadership role at Rajawat The Fern — An Ecotel Hotel, Kanpur.

In his new role, Rathore oversees day-to-day property operations at The Fern Hotels and Resorts' Kanpur address. His responsibilities cover service delivery, operational workflows, team management and guest satisfaction standards aligned with The Fern's eco-sensitive hospitality model.

He transitions into operations from a focused F&B career, bringing a strong multi-outlet management and team leadership background to the broader property management role.

Most Recently Food and Beverage Manager at The Fern Hotels Jaipur

Before moving to Kanpur, Sumer Rathore served as Food and Beverage Manager at The Fern Hotels and Resorts in Jaipur. That posting was his entry into the Fern network and established his credentials within the group before this operations step-up.

Prior to that, he was Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Radisson Blu in Jaipur, adding an international hotel brand's F&B operating standards to his profile.

Professional career 

Rathore's career has been based largely in Jaipur, but it includes a significant international chapter. He spent close to six years as a Team Leader at One&Only Resorts in Dubai, gaining exposure to one of the luxury hospitality sector's most demanding service environments at Dubai Internet City.

Before Dubai, he started his career as a Captain at The Pride Hotels in Jaipur. After returning to India, he worked as Assistant Restaurant Manager at Royal Orchid Hotels and then spent over four years as Restaurant Manager at Hotel Clarks Amer in Jaipur before moving to Radisson Blu.

Sumer Rathore is an alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management Jaipur, where he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Hospitality Management.
