Teja Chand Pendyala Appointed Pre-Opening GM of Oryn Resorts

SHAMIRPET, Telangana — Oryn by Celebrity Resorts has appointed Teja Chand Pendyala as Pre-Opening General Manager, placing a luxury wellness resort specialist with over two decades of international experience at the helm of the property's launch phase.

Oryn is a newly launched vertical of Celebrity Resorts.

Teja Chand Pendyala Brings Two Decades of Luxury and Wellness Experience

Pendyala joins from CtrlAltHeal in Hyderabad, where he served as General Manager, leading wellness operations, membership engagement and revenue strategy. Before that, he was Resort Operations Manager at Ridhira Retreat in Hyderabad and Duty Manager at FIVE LUXE JBR in Dubai.

He also contributed to large-scale hospitality operations as Assistant Catering Manager at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Fan Festival.

Over a Decade at Atlantis Dubai Shaped His International Career

Pendyala spent more than ten years at Atlantis Resorts in Dubai, progressing from VIP Butler to VIP Reception Team Leader and then to VIP and Protocol Services Officer. His work there covered butler team management, airport service networks, suite inventory and custom itinerary planning for high-profile international guests.

Earlier in his career, he held front office roles at The Park Hotels Chennai and ITC Hotels Kolkata, and completed internships at InterContinental Hotels and Resorts Udaipur and Jaypee Hotels and Resorts Agra.

Pre-Opening Role Covers Operations, Teams and Revenue Build-Out

In his new capacity, Pendyala will oversee the property's full pre-opening development phase, covering wellness programming, team building across front office, food and beverage, facilities and housekeeping, marketing strategy and revenue planning.

He holds hospitality credentials from the Canan School of Catering and Hotel Management.
