MADIKERI — Atmosphere Core has appointed Vanita Gomez as General Manager of Stillwood Retreat a Signature Atmosphere Coorg. The appointment comes as the hospitality group prepares to launch its second property in India.

Gomez takes charge of the pre-opening and launch phases at Stillwood Retreat, a 56-villa property approximately 275 km from Bengaluru. She manages daily operations, revenue strategy and the full guest experience across a retreat built around Coorg's natural landscape and Kodava cultural heritage.

The property features private-deck villas with outdoor hot tubs, a wine lounge, themed bar, library, ELE|NA Ayur Spa and event spaces for destination weddings and corporate retreats.

Most Recent Role at Crowne Plaza Pune City Centre

Immediately before this appointment, Gomez served as Operations Manager at Crowne Plaza Pune City Centre. That role combined her commercial background with full property operational leadership a direct step toward a General Manager position.

Career Across Radisson, Raviz, Hyatt and The Park Hotels

Gomez has spent 18 years building a cross-functional career across operations, sales and commercial strategy in premium hospitality.

At Radisson Hotel Group, she served as Regional Director of Sales for South India and Surat, based at Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa. Her focus there was the MICE and weddings segments commercially the most complex and high-value business streams in the leisure hotel space.

At Raviz Hotels & Resorts, she held two roles simultaneously: Director of Sales and Marketing for Pan India and Director of Sales for Chennai and Hyderabad. She drove commercial growth across properties including The Leela Kovalam and The Raviz Kadavu.

Her Hyatt career included the Director of Sales role at Hyatt Place Hampi and Cluster Director of Sales for GreenPark Hotels and Resorts and Marigold Hotel. Before that, she progressed from Assistant Sales Manager to Sales Manager to Associate Director of Sales at The Park Hyderabad an early career trajectory that established her commercial foundation. Her hospitality career began in operations at Taj Krishna Hyderabad.
