KOCHI — ibis Kochi City Centre has appointed Vijayalakshmi P V as Director of Sales. She returns to the property having been part of its pre-opening team as Sales Manager, bringing continuity and fresh commercial momentum to the role.

In her new role at ibis Kochi City Centre, Vijayalakshmi P V leads the hotel's sales function with a focus on corporate engagement, market positioning and revenue growth. She has over 12 years of professional experience, including more than eight years specifically in hospitality sales.
Her return to ibis Kochi is part of a wider announcement from the brand. ibis also appointed Rathiesh Krishnan as Director of Sales at ibis Coimbatore at the same time, reinforcing commercial leadership across two key South India markets simultaneously.
A Career Built Across Hospitality, Consulting and Technology Sales
Before this appointment, she served as Assistant Director of Sales at Kochi Marriott Hotel. Her hospitality career also includes roles at Novotel Kochi Infopark and Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, giving her a thorough grounding in the Kochi hotel market across multiple brand tiers.
Outside hospitality, she worked as Senior Consultant at Ernst and Young and was recognised as a Presidents Club-winning Senior Account Manager in SaaS sales. That mix of hospitality operations, management consulting and technology sales is an unusual combination that gives her a broader commercial lens than most hotel sales professionals bring to the role.
She holds an Executive MBA from IIM Kozhikode.
