R Keerthinidhi, General Manager of Le Foliage by TGI in Bengaluru, has been nominated for India’s 50 Best General Managers 2026, recognising his role in overseeing hotel operations, revenue performance and guest service management, according to details released during the 2026 nomination process by the organisers.

Nomination and Current Role

The nomination acknowledges Keerthinidhi’s leadership role at Le Foliage by TGI, part of TGI Hotels & Resorts, where he operates within a cluster general management structure. He has been serving as Cluster General Manager – Operations since April 2019, based in Bengaluru.

According to company information, he is responsible for managing overall hotel operations, ensuring service delivery standards and maintaining business performance across properties.

Operational Responsibilities and Scope

Keerthinidhi oversees budgeting, forecasting and profit and loss management, ensuring financial targets are achieved while maintaining operational efficiency. His role includes supervising sales and marketing activities, managing key account relationships and monitoring business performance indicators.

The company said he also conducts regular operational reviews, manages online reputation through guest feedback platforms and ensures compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations and financial controls.

His responsibilities include analysing statistical performance data, forecasting sales and monitoring metrics such as average daily rate and revenue per available room. He works with distribution channels to optimise occupancy and revenue generation.

He is also responsible for identifying new revenue streams, managing cost controls and ensuring profitability through effective expense management and operational planning, according to internal processes.

Career Background and Industry Experience

Keerthinidhi has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with expertise in hotel operations and food and beverage management. Prior to his current role, he served as Operations Manager at Ramanashree Brunton, Bengaluru, between 2018 and 2019.

He also held leadership roles at Premier Inn Bengaluru and Sterling Mac Bengaluru as Food and Beverage Manager and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, managing departmental operations and service delivery.

Early Career and Professional Development

Earlier in his career, he worked with Radha Hometel, Fortune Select JP Cosmos and Taj West End in Bengaluru, progressing through roles in guest service and food and beverage operations. His experience includes team training, guest service management and operational planning.

He holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Management from Madurai Kamaraj University and a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Periyar University, the company said.

The India’s 50 Best General Managers 2026, organised by Hospitality Career Profile and powered by Nulsha Bookyati Pvt. Ltd., is currently in the nomination phase, with candidates under evaluation based on operational performance and leadership. The process is ongoing.
