According to the company, Banerjee manages beverage operations across multiple outlets, including Baluchi, OKO, Beluga Bar and the hotel's all-day dining restaurant. His responsibilities include menu engineering, inventory control, audit compliance, beverage promotions, vendor management and departmental training.

He also oversees a beverage portfolio comprising hundreds of wine and spirit labels, conducts beverage training sessions and coordinates promotional events designed to support guest engagement and operational performance.

Previous Hospitality Experience

Before joining The LaLiT Mumbai, Banerjee served as Beverage and Bar Manager at The Park Chennai between October 2023 and February 2025. In that role, he managed operations at Leather Bar and Pasha, overseeing beverage inventories, team scheduling, staff training and compliance standards.

Earlier, he worked as Beverage Operation Manager and Wine Sommelier at Mansionz by Living Liquid in Bengaluru, where he was responsible for wine programs, beverage operations, vendor negotiations and guest-focused wine experiences.

Career Development in Food and Beverage Operations

Banerjee's hospitality career also includes positions with ITC Kohenur Hyderabad and The Westin Mindspace Hyderabad. During these assignments, he handled bar operations, beverage inventory management, guest service delivery and beverage training activities.

His experience covers fine dining restaurants, rooftop bars, nightlife venues and luxury hospitality environments, providing exposure to operational management, customer service and beverage administration.

Banerjee completed Hospitality and Tourism Management studies through Pragati Edutech in 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dibrugarh University.
