Hilton Mumbai International Airport has appointed Kiran Kumar as Director of Food & Beverage, reinforcing its leadership team with seasoned expertise in large-scale F&B operations and commercial performance.

In his new role, Kumar will lead the hotel’s Food & Beverage strategy across restaurants, bars, banquets and culinary initiatives, with a sharp focus on innovation, profitability and service excellence in a high-volume airport hospitality environment.

The appointment is strategically significant as airport hotels increasingly rely on strong F&B performance to drive revenue diversification and enhance guest experience for both transient and business travellers. Leadership depth in this function plays a critical role in balancing operational efficiency with experiential dining.

Kumar brings over 15 years of hospitality experience across leading global hotel brands, with a strong background in revenue management, outlet optimisation, convention catering and team leadership. His career spans luxury and upscale properties in India, where he has successfully managed complex, multi-outlet F&B operations.

Most recently, Kumar served as Food & Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency Lucknow, where he oversaw multiple dining venues and expansive convention facilities, delivering strong financial outcomes while maintaining consistently high guest satisfaction scores.

Academically, Kumar holds an MBA in International Marketing and is a graduate in Hotel Management & Catering Technology, combining operational grounding with commercial acumen.

Leadership at Hilton Mumbai International Airport has highlighted that Kumar’s people-centric leadership style and strategic approach to F&B will support the hotel’s broader objectives of elevating dining experiences and strengthening overall guest engagement.

As Director of Food & Beverage, Kumar will work closely with culinary, sales, events and operations teams to ensure that the hotel’s dining offerings align with evolving guest expectations and the dynamic demands of Mumbai’s hospitality market.
