Amoh Rhodes luxury resort won over a reviewer from 1883 Magazine during a five night stay near Lindos. The resort is only in its first full season. Yet the writer found few rough edges, even while travelling with a toddler.

The property sits on a secluded peninsula in Pefki. It is run as Amoh, a Luxury Collection Resort. This Amoh Rhodes review highlights the rooms, beaches, restaurants and family friendly service. The reviewer notes that three of the five nights were complimentary.

Amoh Rhodes Luxury Resort Rooms and Design

The resort has 197 rooms and suites. Private pool and sea view options are among them. The reviewer was upgraded to a spacious suite with its own pool above the main pool.

Interiors are contemporary and minimal. Stone, warm neutrals and natural materials reflect the landscape. The suite offered plenty of storage, a very comfortable bed and a pillow menu.

A bottle of Champagne and sweets waited on arrival. The next morning, the family ordered room service. A large breakfast beside the private pool made a great start to the holiday.

The design avoids the familiar white and blue Greek island look. It takes cues from Rhodes stonework instead. Sand tones, mineral colours and sculptural forms set the style.

Pools and Beaches at Amoh Rhodes Luxury Resort

The main pool is large and calm. Loungers and generous daybeds surround it, and none cost extra. Even in September, the reviewer never had to compete for a seat. Music plays softly, but the mood stays relaxed.

Kavos Beach became a highlight of the trip. Stone terraces step down a rocky cove, much like an amphitheatre. Sunbeds fill each level, and a beach bar sits above. It is a clever use of the landscape, and one of the writer's most memorable beaches.

Parents of very young children should take care on the different levels. Kymata, the second beach, has a flatter layout. Visitors searching for a luxury hotel Rhodes style stay with good beach options will find both here.

Dining at Amoh Rhodes Luxury Resort

The food may be the best reason to stay. Several restaurants offer menus that feel truly different. The reviewer looked forward to every lunch and dinner.

Kymata serves Greek seafood and shares its name with the beach. Starters and fresh fish impressed on the first evening. Each restaurant also offered its own take on the Greek salad.

Cava di Pietra is the Italian restaurant, with tables facing the ancient quarry. The octopus dish was very good, and so was the carbonara. Lithos serves breakfast with a large buffet and à la carte choices.

Glaze was the reviewer's favourite. This Glaze steakhouse Amoh venue cooks aged cuts over a Josper grill. The wagyu is the pick. Sushi is also on the menu. It costs more and is usually excluded from dinner packages, but the writer found it worth every euro.

An outdoor teppanyaki style table lets chefs cook in front of diners. The family did not try it, as there were only three of them. The reviewer would book it first for a group trip.

Why Amoh Rhodes Luxury Resort Works for Families

Amoh looks very grown up. Even so, it worked well with a toddler. The family received a Stokke Sleepi cot with a high quality mattress. High chairs appeared at every restaurant without a request.

Children's menus went well beyond burger and chips. Staff were wonderful with the little girl. They even learned to fill her milk bottle each day without being asked.

The resort was quiet enough for her to wander near the table at meals. One wish remains. The reviewer would add a shallow splash pool for small children.

Spa and Local Trips Near Amoh Rhodes Luxury Resort

ELISPA is the resort spa. Treatments are built around the four elements and use Greek ingredients. It also has a sauna, a steam room and a shaded outdoor pool. Before the massage, guests write something to let go of on black paper, which is burned in a small ritual. The 40 minute upper body massage was exceptional.

The resort is close to Lindos in Pefki. A few casual restaurants lie nearby, and the family dined out twice. The reviewer did not visit Lindos this time. Still, the whitewashed streets and hilltop Acropolis come highly recommended.

The Verdict on Amoh Rhodes Luxury Resort

The writer would return without much hesitation. Check in could be quicker, and toddlers need a splash pool. Beyond that, there was little to fault. The family was already planning a return trip next year.
