Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels has launched Zone Connect by The Park in Dehradun, marking expansion in Uttarakhand’s growing hospitality market.
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Ltd has launched a new property under its Zone Connect by The Park brand in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, the company said, marking its expansion into the state capital to cater to rising demand from business and leisure travellers in the region.
The hotel, which opened in March 2026, is located in Dehradun, a key gateway city to popular hill destinations such as Mussoorie and Char Dham pilgrimage routes. The company said the launch strengthens its presence in north India and aligns with its strategy to expand in emerging urban and tourism-driven markets.
New property in Dehradun
The Zone Connect by The Park Dehradun property has been introduced as part of the company’s mid-market brand portfolio. Officials said the hotel is designed to cater to both corporate travellers and tourists visiting Uttarakhand.
The company confirmed that the property is now operational and accepting guests. The launch adds to Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels’ growing network of hotels across India.
Dehradun has seen increased hospitality activity due to its connectivity and proximity to major tourist destinations, the company said.
Hotel features and capacity
The hotel includes guest rooms, food and beverage outlets and meeting facilities aimed at accommodating business events and social functions. The company said the property has been developed in line with its brand standards.
Facilities include dining options and spaces for meetings and small gatherings, targeting both corporate and leisure segments. The hotel is equipped with operational systems aligned with the group’s existing portfolio.
Officials did not disclose the total investment value but confirmed that the property has been developed to meet current market demand in the city.
Expansion strategy
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels said the launch is part of its broader expansion strategy to grow its presence in tier-II and tier-III cities. The company has been increasing its footprint through a mix of owned and managed properties.
Executives stated that Uttarakhand offers opportunities due to steady tourism inflow and infrastructure development. The company plans to continue evaluating similar destinations for future growth.
The Zone Connect brand is positioned to serve mid-scale segments in emerging markets, the company added.
Market context
Dehradun has emerged as a key hospitality market due to its role as a transit hub for hill tourism and religious travel. Industry participants said demand for organized hotel accommodation has increased in recent years.
The city also hosts government institutions, educational centres and corporate offices, contributing to year-round occupancy levels. Hotel operators have been expanding inventory to capture this demand.
The addition of branded hotels is expected to enhance accommodation options and support tourism growth in the region.
Current status
The Zone Connect by The Park Dehradun property is operational as of March 2026, with Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels continuing to expand its portfolio across key markets in India.
