She said airport lounge access is an important part of the value delivered to Cardmembers, particularly as the company looks for ways to elevate their journeys and make them more rewarding, adding that the strong response to the Aspire Amex Lounge in Montréal has directly informed the decision to expand the experience to more Cardmembers across Canada.

Through the expanded partnership, eligible American Express Cardmembers will receive priority lounge and waitlist access, addressing one of the most common frustrations travellers encounter at busy airport lounges during peak departure periods. Cardmembers can also enjoy a mix of buffet offerings and tableside ordering, providing genuine choice throughout their visit rather than a single, fixed dining format.

The expansion will roll out across key Canadian airports specifically. YYC Calgary Airport's new Aspire Amex Lounge opened September 16, 2026, offering access for travellers departing from Calgary to domestic locations, while YUL Montréal Trudeau International Airport's new lounge is scheduled to open by early 2027, providing access for travellers departing from Montréal specifically to the United States.
