KUMBAKONAM, May 26, 2026 — Lemon Tree Hotels has signed Lemon Tree Hotel, Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu, adding a 66-room property to its portfolio in the state and taking its Tamil Nadu footprint to eight hotels, six operational and two upcoming, including the newly signed Kumbakonam property.

The hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. The signing places the brand in Kumbakonam, one of Tamil Nadu's most visited spiritual and cultural destinations, and continues the group's strategy of expanding into Tier II and Tier III markets with strong pilgrimage, leisure and transit demand.
