RAJKOT, May 23, 2026: NILE Hospitality has confirmed that Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Rajkot will open later in 2026, making it the city's first internationally branded hotel. The 55-room property, promoted by Devdwarika LLP, with an all-day dining restaurant and approximately 2,500 sq ft of banquet facilities, will operate as an exclusively vegetarian hotel and marks NILE Hospitality's ninth property in Gujarat and its seventh operational collaboration with Radisson Hotel Group.
The confirmation of the 2026 opening timeline turns what was a signing announcement into a live delivery commitment. For Rajkot, a city whose engineering, manufacturing and SME economy has been generating consistent business travel demand for years without a single internationally branded hotel address to show for it, the arrival of Park Inn & Suites this year closes a gap that has been sitting open for longer than it should have.
Park Inn Suites Rajkot Opens in 2026 as NILE Hospitality's Ninth Gujarat Property
The Rajkot property sits at a specific intersection of demand signals. The city's industrial base, spanning engineering goods, automobile components, ceramic manufacturing and a deep small-and-medium enterprise ecosystem, has long produced inbound business traffic from buyers, suppliers and corporate visitors. That traffic has historically been absorbed by unbranded or regionally managed properties. The arrival of an internationally branded hotel changes what those visitors can book, what their companies will reimburse and how Rajkot registers on the radar of multi-city business travel itineraries.
Vikram Singh Chauhan, Founder and CEO of NILE Hospitality, framed the opening in the context of what it means for the city's hospitality positioning.
"The hospitality landscape in Rajkot continues to undergo significance in line with the long-term development of its diverse economy and potential. Introducing Rajkot's first international branded hotel, along with NILE's long-established presence in Gujarat and Radisson's world-class distribution network, will put us in a great position to contribute to the ongoing growth and diversification of the city's hospitality sector. With Devdwarika LLP as promoters, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Rajkot reinforces our commitment to offering premium accommodation for leisure and business travellers who are seeking an elevated experience, while enjoying all the familiar comforts of an international brand."
— Vikram Singh Chauhan, Founder & CEO, NILE Hospitality
Nine hotels in Gujarat for NILE Hospitality is a number that reflects genuine depth of market knowledge in the state. This is not a company entering unfamiliar territory with a single flag-planting exercise. It is an operator with established relationships, an understanding of the demand patterns across Gujarat's commercial cities, and the credibility to attract owner-partners in markets where branded hospitality is still relatively new.
Vegetarian-Only Operations Reflect a Deliberate Market Alignment
The decision to operate Park Inn & Suites Rajkot as an exclusively vegetarian hotel is worth examining as a business call rather than a cultural footnote. Rajkot's population is predominantly vegetarian, and a significant portion of the city's business community, particularly in the Jain and Vaishnav communities that are well-represented in its trading and manufacturing sectors, actively prefers or requires vegetarian catering for meetings, events and corporate hospitality.
An internationally branded hotel that serves non-vegetarian food in Rajkot is not automatically at a disadvantage. But one that commits fully to vegetarian operations can access segments of the corporate events and social functions market that a mixed-menu property cannot serve with the same confidence. The banquet hall and conference room that come with this property are likely to see a meaningful share of their bookings driven by exactly that preference.
The Rajkot Opening Is Part of a Four-City Park Inn & Suites Pipeline With NILE
The Rajkot property does not stand alone in NILE Hospitality's pipeline. The company signed four new Park Inn & Suites by Radisson locations in partnership with Radisson Hotel Group in late 2025, Rajkot, Bhuj, Siliguri and Darbhanga. Each city represents a different demand profile: Bhuj's post-earthquake reconstruction economy and Rann of Kutch tourism draw, Siliguri's position as the gateway to Northeast India and Bhutan, and Darbhanga's growth as a religious tourism and commercial hub in Bihar.
Together, the four signings form a coherent map of the kind of market NILE and Radisson are jointly targeting: tier-two and tier-three cities with real economic activity, under-served branded hotel capacity and demand profiles that an internationally recognised mid-scale brand can serve at the right price point. Rajkot being first out of that pipeline to confirm a 2026 opening reflects both its commercial readiness and the operational momentum behind this partnership.
NILE's Seven-Property Radisson Track Record Anchors the Delivery Confidence
What makes the 2026 opening confirmation credible in a sector where announced timelines often slip is NILE Hospitality's existing track record. Seven operational Radisson properties before this one means the company has been through the development, pre-opening and operational ramp-up process for internationally branded hotels enough times to know what the timeline requires and what it takes to hit it.
For NILE Hospitality, the Rajkot opening is an addition to a portfolio it has been building systematically across India's emerging commercial markets. For Radisson Hotel Group, it is another data point in the argument that mid-scale branded hospitality in tier-two India is a growth story that is far from fully written. For Rajkot, it is simply the hotel the city has been waiting for.
